BONNET is definetely not the first LED wall uplighter with indirect light. With its elegant sinuous shape, BONNET is very pleasant to the eye even when not in function. The upper ring hides a small yet very powerful LED source directing light mainly upwards onto the wall and ceiling.
Designer Odoardo Fioravanti also wanted to play with some indirect light. This was achieved a lens directing it downwards. In this way, BONNET not only lights itself up but also produces a downwards glow.
In the tradition of Italian label Fontana Arte all materials and technologies used are highly advanced and include die-cast aluminium alloys with a low silicon content that enable any kind of surface finish, clear technopolymers with very high refractive indexes and new-generation Chip-on-Board LED components.
