Acoustic light @ Luceplan
We all know how annoying it is when you're in a restaurant, café or meeting room, and the acoustics are so bad that you can't hear your own thoughts. Not only is this very irritating; it also requires a lot of precious energy.  Luceplan has released a new collection consisting of the SILENZIO and PÉTALE. Two models that remarkably enhance the acoustics of its environment. SILENZIO is a collaboration of Luceplan and the Danish textile company Kvadrat. The suspended lamps will behave similar to upholstered furniture and can be adapted with a wide range of fabrics. In addition to its lighting function, SILENZIO will accentuate the acoustic performance and beautifully decorate the space, while offering comfort and improving your mood. SILENZIO is made of an aluminum frame and a Kvadarat textile mix (90% wool and 10% nylon). SILENZIO is also available as a wall lamp made with different layers of absorbent material. The SILENZIO collection is available in five colors with matching shades. PÉTALE is a special sound-absorbing panel covered with a white elastic tissue. The Pétale was designed by the French architect Odile Decq. Through close cooperation you see the same approach of originality and lightness. The lamp may be defined as a graceful, soft, floating petal that spreads smooth white light, but its extraordinary sound absorption properties are what makes this lamp so special.  PÉTALE is available in 2 sizes, which will be a beautiful addition to any space.
