BLOM is a new table lamp imagined by Andreas Engesvik, Norwegian designer, for Italian lighting manufacturer Fontana Arte. Angesvik asserted himself at the international level by his capacity to convey feelings and ideas for objects with daily use. Its name, contraction of the term blomst (flower in Norwegian), comes to it of its shape consisted of screens in the shape of petals. Of a dimensions minimal, 24 cms in height for 15 cms in diameter. Intensity can be adjusted thanks to the two petals that gently embrace the diffuser, rotating on the base to shield the glare depending on personal requirements: with the petals aligned the lamp emits maximum light. BLOM is an object which adapts itself perfectly to the contemporary life: It's fun and brings a design touch. BLOM is available in 4 colours: ruby red, silk grey, pale green and yellow. It has a switch on transparent cable.
