Designing creative light plans is our main goal at Studio Brink. When a retail company asked us to create something new with a WOW factor that will make people stand still and look into their shop, we were honoured.
Several designs were presented but this version of the Bocci 16 stood out. The shop has a pillar which we used to create a ‘tree’ like effect with the lighting fixtures. Randomness and a natural setup was essential.
The custom design is shaped in an arch and you can literally walk under it, making it resemble a tree which has become one with the store. The lighting is soft but the elements are really large. The metal frame only becomes clear up close and is somewhat unexpected, creating a surprising element.
A beautiful concept. Even if this design will not come to life, it is with no doubt a beautiful presentation of what is possible with lighting and creativity.
