BOOMY is a wall lamp with a strong character even when its light is off. Its strongly dynamic yet defined sculptural shape gives it a strong appeal in any environment. Fabbian's BOOMY does not only have an interesting shape, the material chosen for BOOMY is Crystalplant. This material for the diffuser enhances the quality perception of this wall light. The Led light source illuminates the walls through refraction and defines the peculiar shape of the applique, giving it a floating appearance. In fact, when the lamp is tuned on, the brightness of the light reflected on the wall contrasts with the suddenly darkened diffuser, emphasizing its curved-shape. The smart shape is suitable for modular compositions, allowing for experiments. With this purpose, BOOMY is available in two sizes, 50 and 100 cm, with similar silhouette but slightly different proportions. Electrification on mains voltage for Led with included ballast. BOOMY is a design for Italian design label Fabbian by the young Italian designer Vittorio Massimo. BOOMY is expected after the summer 2014.
