Caiigo @ Foscarini

Caiigo is inspired by a beautiful natural phenomenon.

CAIIGO comes from the Venetian dialect and refers to the fog in the early morning in the Italian city centres.CAIIGO is designed by Marco Zito and the blown glass is made according to the ancient tradition of the Venetian island of Murano. This particular combination of white and transparent glass makes the fixture so unique. The white glass slowly changes into a transparent glass and because of this all being determined and blown by the glassblower, no fixture is identical. The light shines down and forms a unit with the glass. Both illuminated and non-illuminated the magical fog effect is visible and with one or multiple fixtures you will get this beautiful natural phenomenon inside your home. CAIIGO by is available with halogen or LED lighting and is dimmable.
