Cork is an elastic light material made from the bark of the Quercus suber. Often used for insulation, bulletin board, arts and crafts materials or a stop for a wine bottle. DARK used it for the CAPTAIN CORK pendant light. CAPTAIN CORK is designed by the Portuguese designer Miguel Arruda. By using this material and simple curved shapes, Arruda created a beautiful gentle light effect. The light source is a 20 Watt E27 Globe bulb or a 15W retrofit LED. The suspension cable is available in 1.5m or 2.5m. CAPTAIN CORK is of course only suitable for indoor use and you can create a special effect by combining several lamps with different cable lengths. IN bundles, it makes an attractive solution for high areas and stairways.
