Clip Pendant light@ Modo Luce
Modo Luce Pendant CLIP lighting. The Clip is designed by the Italian designers Baldessari & Baldessari. The Clip has a shape of a cylinder and split into two reflective white shells. These reflectors are held in place by a slim metal frame, to give a hanging lamp of considerable dimensions and fragile balance. Clip's metal frame is available in different kinds of colors and finishes: from Caramel and Sage to the more classic Sand and from Lead Grey to elegant Gold. Within the frame, the symmetries of two interplaying curved surfaces.   So one above the other and performing opposing functions. In the upper part, the thermoformed opal diffuser reflects the light into the surrounding space. And in the lower curved and white-painted aluminum part, the plate serves to hide the light source. This light elegant hanging lamp is suitable for the public as private spaces. And aesthetically it's also compatible within smaller rooms. The clip was used to illuminate one of the most representative places. As an example: the contemporary art in Venice, the Ca' Pesaro International Gallery. Several times it got by an exceptionally high tide in 2019. It got hit by COVID, followed by a lockdown after. The building has been entirely restored and renovated. And with respecting its identity in the meanwhile. Recently it reopened. The new cafeteria is lit by Clip. A suspension lamp conceived by Baldessari e Baldessari studio, which is also overseeing the interior design of the space.
