At Light&Building we really loved COUNTERBALANCE, a new wall lamp by upcoming designer Daniel Rybakken for Luceplan. It seems to defy the laws of physics: It's steel arm is 190cm long, this weight is counterbalanced by an aluminum structure thanks to the use of gear wheels.
The light rotates for the possibility of indirect lighting. This design allows for positioning the lamp in every possible direction. The LED light source of COUNTERBALANCE has an output of 800 lumens with 14,5w energy consumption and gives beautiful warm white light. This wall lamp can be directly connected on mains, there is no need for a transformer.
