The EGG Pendant Light by Italian lighting label Pallucco brings back the ancient craft technique of glass blowing in a cage. In this process a luminous and organic object reminiscent of a cocoon is created. The blowing process gives the glass its unique character.
The minor irregularities in shape and tiny bubbles of air that float to the surface make each lamp unique. The simple metal wire, gives EGG strong graphic features even when switched off. EGG is a brand new design by Enrico Franzolini. Featuring a metal structure and blown glass diffuser, EGG is avaible in white, grey and topaz colored glass.
