ETOILE is inspired by a ballerina’s tutu, lifting and folding as she dances, creating perfect sense of balance that fascinates observers. Adriano Rachele created this suspension lamp for Slamp with Lentiflex®, which is a special synthetic material, only used by Slamp. Rachele used the material to make his design more playful and outstanding. ETOILE makes the light dance with its particular folds and reflections.
ETOILE contains three LED light sources, each with a different purpose. One emits indirect light to the ceiling, to light a room evenly. Then there’s a second LED which emits direct light downwards, to get some extra light at your table, bar or couch. The third one emits a diffused light around the fixture, making all the surfaces of the suspension lamp shine and creating suggestive reflections between the folds. This creates a soft, prismatic effect, typical for the Slamp collection. ETOILE is available in two sizes: a small one for use at a home setting, and a larger one, designed for commercial use with more dramatic impact.
