FOG @ ZERO

FOG is a lamp based on illusion, created by Front Design for Zero Lighting. These special spherical pendant lamps seem to have no apparent light source, but just a mystical glow shooting from the bottom of the sphere. FOG consists of a glass ball that is frosted at  the bottom and graduates to transparent at the top. As stated by Zero Lighting: “The light appears to shoot up from the bottom of the globe, emitting an ambient glow that rises like a magically fiery fog”. The illusion of the light rising from the bottom of the sphere is actually created by a LED light source, well hidden in the socket of the of the lamp. This LED light source illuminates the frosted glass at the bottom so it seams to glow. This effect is strengthened in a dark surrounding, as the contrast between the top and bottom of FOG is more intense. FOG is available with different colour sockets: copper or powder-coated in black or white. There are three different sizes available, which makes FOG very suitable for different situations, put together as a cluster or suspended separately to fit any need.
