A new design by David Dolcini for , GARBÍ.
This wall is a flowable lamp luminaire with regular over surfaces, which together form precise angles. The indirect light that emits LED complement the space. The light is reflected from the wall above and below the luminaire. The opening adds a lot of depth to the object. Even unenlightened GARBÍ is a true art object in space.
David Dolcini:
"I designed GARBÍ as if it were a sculpture, removing material from an initial volume Gradually and observing how the light slides on its surfaces, accentuating the edges. I observed the sunlight in Valencia for hours and hours, shaping the surfaces and revealing the volumes. Then I Attempted to transmit That sensation of balance, vitality and force in GARBÍ, a much smaller object made to light architectural interiors all over the world. "
Garbí is made of die-cast and deep-drawn aluminium and is available in two colour versions; Aluminum with a matte white powder coated or metallized aluminium.
