Zuiver brought the houseplant to the next level; meet GROW lamp-series. For this framed beauty Zuiver worked together with Rotterdam-based design studio REM atelier. They created GROW, dimmable fixtures in 4 different sizes. Al 4 sizes present their own exotic houseplant; A Zebra Plant, Fiddle Leaf Fig, Fan Palm and an Elephant ear plant. The lightbox contains a three-dimensional layered picture of the plant which creates a very realistic illusion of a living plant. REM Atelier observed the way that people used plants to decorate their living spaces. Most plants are placed in window frames because they grow towards the sun, that is precisely how GROW is designed.
We guess that there is an enormous market for exotic houseplants that don’t need any water nor can’t die!
GROW has an aluminium frame with a dark oak finish, the flat sides are made of acrylic glass.
