After the massive success of their iconic IC family, Flos soon decided to introduce an exterior version.
This minimalistic designed standing lamp is a design by Michael Anastassiades. As the name suggests, IC FLOOR OUTDOOR is suitable for exterior use. It weighs 10kg, so it will not be blown over by the wind. Its structure is made of painted brushed stainless steel or brushed brass; marble base in various colours. There are four standard colour combinations: black/black lava painted steel, deep brown/Travertino Imperiale, satinized brass/grey lava, satinized stainless steel/Occhio di Pernice.
The structural parts are chemically treated for protection against atmospheric elements. The opalescent blown glass diffuser allows for soft and even spread of light. IC FLOOR OUTDOOR has a 5m cable with IP44 Schuko plug suitable for outdoor use. The backlit floor dimmer switch on the IP65 power cord enables ON/OFF function and brightness regulation 30–100%. The light source inside the matt white globe is an E27 retrofit LED bulb that is interchangeable. IC FLOOR OUTDOOR comes in two sizes: F1 is 135cm, and F2 is 185 cm.
