KABUKI @ KARTELL

A design by Ferruccio Laviani which is either loved or hated.

KABUKI is a traditional form of Japanese drama with songs, dance and mime which is operated by male actors. With exaggerated movements and gestures of the body, they express emotions in historical plays, dramas and dance pieces. KABUKI by  is as intricate and beautiful as the Japanese drama. At first glance you will think that Kabuki is handmade, but she is a full industrial-made object. This floor lamp is 165 centimetres high, has a diameter of 50 centimetres and is made from thermoplastic technopolymer. KABUKI is available in 5 different colours: frosted crystal, matte green, matte light blue, glossy black and glossy black.
