LASERBLADE is a recessed lighting fixture of iGuzzini. At first sight, it’s a discrete lighting product to be used just like any other recessed fixture. You couldn’t be more wrong! LASERBLADE has found a way to get the most out of LED lighting products. The special light distribution of LASERBLADE avoids the dot like effects, which is usual for single LEDs, and therefore creates a single general emission.
LASERBLADE can produce a general light with 50° cones, or a very concentrated light with one 25° cone. Both options are very energy efficient and produce very little glare. The limited cone solution concentrates the light on flat surfaces like tables, shelves or cabinets. LASERBLADE is above all functional as an accent light. It can then create highlights at objects you desire, so the eye will be drawn to it automatically. The whole idea is so innovative that it received a number of awards, including the prestigious Red Dot Design Award 2013. There are two versions: with and without a small trim.
