Designers Young & Battaglia have finally found the solution to honouring the chandelier without the need of enormous rooms to install them in. The KING EDISON pendant lamp is a glass, bulb-shaped pendant lamp with a tiny chandelier inside it. The KING EDISON pendant for Mineheart combines the pure simplicity of an Edison light bulb with the romance and glamour of a Kings chandelier.
The miniature brass chandeliers inside the bulb have tiny candles that give off a small glow. KING EDISON turns the world of lighting upside down by using an oversized lightbulb and a tiny chandelier, and it looks beautiful!
The lamp hangs from the ceiling on a two-metre-long braided cable and has a diameter of 15 centimetres. The KING EDISON lamp is named after Thomas Edison, the inventor of the light bulb and references the majesty of chandeliers. The lights can be suspended individually or in clusters for maximum effect.
