LOTEK @ Artemide

The inspiration for the name of Javier Mariscal’s desk lamp he designed for Artemide is obvious: ‘lo-tech’ meaning ‘low-technology’. The same reason why Benno Premsela gave the same name to his iconic standing lamp LOTEK in 1982. No doubt that Mariscal's designs are not only inspired by Piet Mondriaan, but also with the robust but simple lines of a child’s building set, with visible joins. But Artemide took great care in getting the details right: this new LOTEK is beautifully made and in proportion. Of course it is equipped with the latest LED technology. The LOTEK table lamp has adjustable arms and head. The dimensions are : H 62cm. Colours include yellow, orange, blue and black. The base is blue. The light source is LED with a total power of 7,5 watts, the light color is warm white (3000K) and LOTEK is equipped with a dimmer.
