Almost six month after renown architect Gae Aulenti died, Martinelli Luce introduces a smaller version of her iconic lamp Pipistrello: Mini Pipistrello. This table lamp originates from 1965 and is loved for it's soft diffused light. Just like his big brother, Mini Pipistrello has a glazed stainless steel telescope and white opal methacrylate diffuser. The base and knob are made of coated aluminium in the classic colors white and dark brown. New are the colors purple red, glossy black, beige metallic and satin aluminium. Mini Pipistrello has a diameter of Ø 27cm and a fixed height of only 35cm and has a 9W LED lightsource. Retailprices will be €500 ex VAT for the standard switch and €590 ex VAT for the touch switch and dimmer. The first Mini Pipistrello's are expected to arrive in April 2013.
