A resin drained glass-fiber yarn is randomly coiled around a big ball. The ball is then deflated and extracted from a round opening in the lamp. At the end the skin becomes the product. Soft and magic. It sounds pretty simple, but it took designer Bertjan Pot three years to develop. Random Light has been extremely popular ever since the introduction by Moooi. Random Light is available in three sizes. In 2011 an LED was introduced.
