Inspired by Chinese wishing lanterns, RITUALS is a new timeless collection for Foscarini. Ludovica and Roberto Palomba made a beautiful compromise between the East and the West by using different materials and inspiration sources. The shapes of the RITUALS collection reflect the form of the traditional Japanese lanterns that always create a form of solidarity between people. As Foscarini puts it: “In different yet complementary shapes, volumes of blown and frosted glass, cut by a series of horizontal lines of varying thickness that are arranged in an intentionally casual manner, filter and modulate the intensity of light with a special chiaroscuro effect.” This poetic descriptions illustrates how the RITUALS lighting family is a timeless, classy design that creates a warm ambiance in any room.
