SKELP is a special object by DELTA LIGHT, just by it’s name. It represents the word “shell”, but with a Flemish dialect. The structure of SKELP also refers to a shell, with it’s spherical backside in white aluminum. Skelp is available as two different recessed fixtures, a surface-mounted luminaire and integrated in a bollard to light your garden. SKELP uses a LED light source at the bottom of the fixture. Because of it’s oblique backside, the light is reflected so it indirectly lights it’s surroundings. This makes Skelp an ideal fixture to create a nice, peaceful ambient. Because of it’s small thickness, SKELP can be applied in any room. Placed in groups, SKELP can form a creative source of light. When placed in rows, SKELP provides a neat, modern feeling. Later on, DELTA LIGHT will launch another fixture in this series: SKELP XL, with which the effect of the indirect light will be even stronger.
