SNOWDROP is a new suspension light designed by the design duo Stone Designs. It is the latest addition to the collection of British design label INNERMOST. Innermost was founded in 1999 by Steve Jones and Russell Cameron and stands for concept, quality and wit.
SNOWDROP is a colourful lamp that effortlessly merges into the room. As the name may suggests, SNOWDROP is named after the consonant flower. But the designers were not only inspired by this particular little white flower. They were also inspired by similar ones such as 'spring snowflake' and the 'lily of the valley'. They have observed these bulbous plants for hours. The slender stems and beautiful colours have led to the creation of the SNOWDROP.
A soft glow of light shines through the opening of the candy-coloured shades. SNOWDROP is available in three different colours: orange, dark pink and green. It is made of aluminium and glass. SNOWDROP is an elegant lamp with a diameter of 24 centimetre. It comes with a cable of 4 meter. The cable is made in the same colour as the shade of the lamp.
SNOWDROP will be launched for the first time on Innermost’s exhibition in September 2014 at Maison et Objet in Paris and DesignJunction in London.
