SPIRY is a playful spiral of light, like a spinning maple leaf that is released into the air. SPIRY's playful design for a new suspension lamp is an idea of Giovanni Barbato for Italian lighting firm Axo Light. SPIRY is made of matt white painted aluminum, light and thin, like a soft fabric wraps around the light and seems to want to continuously turn with spiral motion. Its own shape, simple and elegant in effect has created an effective lamp, perfect for lighting various spaces. SPIRY uses a halogen or compact fluorescent light bulb. Little details such as the red cable and bended angle on top make it nice and fun. SPIRY retails for € 499,-.
