Italian lighting label Foscarini claims that the seduction of a female hair braid was the original inspiration for the TRESS lamp family. But the truth is that the design idea was actually transformed through the development of a completely original technological process in which a fiberglass tape intertwined with resin becomes both the structure and decoration of the lamp.
Two thin models were added to the TRESS family. The slim models TRESS STILO are perfect for situations where a small volume is required but a stong presence is called for. The available colors white, black and red are typical for Foscarini. The colors give TRESS very different personalities.
The TRESS STILO floor lamp projects its light upwards, TRESS STILO hanging lamp has a concentrated light beam down. The pendant is also available with LED light source.
