Verto @ Belux
The Swiss company Belux is currently launching a revolutionary new lamp 'Verto'. It was co-developed with Japanese industrial designer Naoto Fukasawa. Verto uses intelligent LED technology and brings surprising innovations. The built-in fan cooling  of the LEDs is held by a magnetic field and not touching the case. This keeps the fan in operation almost inaudible. With only one light source Verto produces both direct and indirect light. The LEDs in the neck are arranged on the inclined reflector located above directed. The deflected light evenly illuminates two desks without glare. By the partial permeability of the reflector, around 20% of light arrives at the office ceiling and is diffusely reflected back into the room. The entire electronic part is integrated in the reflector frame and is invisible. With a consumption of 80 watts 'Verto' Beluxis proud to present one of the most efficient office floor lamps on the market. Daylight and motion sensors also ensure low energy consumption. With a touch-sensitive switch the color temperature can be adjusted from cool to warm - with unchanged illuminance. The compact size of LEDs enables full-time replacement and retrofitting with the latest LED technology. Thus, Verto as part of a dynamically evolving technology are always brought up to date. The lightweight aluminum-made is lamp is available in white and silver. Verto will be presented at Light + Building in Frankfurt. The production launch is scheduled for June 2012.
