Vibia highlights @ Light & Building 2018

Vibia launched 6 new product families this year: GUISE, MUSA, NORTH, PALMA, STRUCTURAL, ARIK, TEMPO

GUISE reveals possibilities for LED technology that comes into contact with matter. The LED light source is invisible, emitting directly from the glass which exposes a glowing interior and a lighting system that operates impeccably in technical terms. When switched off its transparency makes it practically disappear. When switched on, GUISE defines a fluid luminous presence. The chromatic range, its appearance and nuances of MUSA refer to the natural environment. The tonal possibilities increase the warmth of the radiance. The bowl, which is somewhat textured, catches the light of the small luminescent sphere and reflects it over its soft curves. MUSA has a real and warm design and is relevant in scale. NORTH is a floor light that seems to floats in space. Separating the parts of the luminous object: the counterweight placed on the floor guides the electrical cable and allows the stem and shade to be placed wherever required. NORTH represents an exercise in utilitarian and poetic deconstruction. The design of PALMA was inspired by the beauty of hanging gardens. A floating effect is achieved through its various configurations, unique cable system and the hoops that bind the spheres. PALMA can create ambience with supplementary fixtures like a luminous hanging garden. STRUCTURAL is a combination of indirect en direct lighting which provides a mysterious light that complements the walls and other surfaced. The STRUCTURAL collection is based on a mixture of cubic dimensions. The design of TEMPO is inspired by the search for a general language of illumination. The collection consists of suspended and wall fixtures.
