WORK LAMP is not as folksy and flimsy as the traditional construction lamp from the garage and the workshop. This design from Form Us With Love for Design House Stockholm has a far more refined look, in their words: “We wanted to make a lamp using as little material as possible. The traditional construction lamp was already there: you can drop it, treat it roughly, it’s an everyday do-it-all object. We just had to give it a better appearance!”
WORK LAMP is a portable lamp in chromed steel that can be hung from the ceiling, resting on the floor or on a mobile due to the long black cable (310 cm) which is provided. Like a construction lamp, WORK LAMP is resistant to shock, falls and has rounded corners. But WORK LAMP is made with a thicker wire, improved angles, and more of a long-lasting appearance. It's even somewhat glamourous.
