YUPIK, designed by the upcoming studio Form Us With Love for FontanaArte, is a portable lamp, suitable for all different kinds of purposes. Because of it’s 5 metres of cable, it can be moved around a room very easily. YUPIK can therefore be used as a torch, but also as a table light, or as a floor lamp lying down on the ground, illuminating a wall or special item. If you wish, it can even be used as a suspension lamp by twisting the cable around a hook. The light polypropylene structure of YUPIK supports it’s portable characteristic. Despite it’s light weight, YUPIK’s structure is very sturdy to resist knocks and falls. The shape that was given to YUPIK also emphasizes it’s portable features. It makes you want to carry it around the room from time to time, and use it for a different purpose every day. YUPIK's body is in polypropylene foam, available in pale grey and black.
