SWIRL is a custom flexible luminaire with a round profile that was just launched by Belgian lighting label Orbit. You could mistake it for a posh flexible led line but give it a second look, and you'll find it to be a sophisticated yet very playful fixture that can be applied both indoor and outdoor.
With SWIRL, you can create lines and curves with a high-quality uniform 360-degree light. It can give a playful touch to any space without compromising light quality. A lot of attention was put into getting the components just right. Parts like the optional trapeze bar, suspension set and the ceiling canopy are well designed.
The light unit is available in several lengths up to 5 meters and is available in 2700K warm white or 3000K neutral light colour. With CRI > 85, the light quality is more than sufficient. The led output is 630 lm/m. For the power cable, you can choose between 1,25m or 4m and black or white. The trapeze bar comes in black, white or champagne anodized. If you can place the driver remote than a ceiling canopy of cover is available. Of course, there is a ceiling box with an integrated driver as well, since this is a rectangular piece, it draws a bit of attention away from the line.
