Laajisto, Joanna

In 2010 Joanna founded the design studio in Helsinki by the name of Studio Joanna Laajisto. She was designing distinguished commercial interiors for different arias such as workplaces, retail, and hospitality. The trademark of Studio Joanna Laajisto can be revered: the boutique design of the eminent Finnish jeweler Atelier Torbjörn Tillander in Helsinki and in the workplace design of renowned Helsinki-based video game developer Supercell. Studio Joanna Laajisto is also known for the designs and production of crafted lamps. For the Finnish design, the studio also produces the System storage units for Lundia and also the Airisto seats for Made by Choice. Joanna Laajisto’s work is describable as quality, timelessness, sustainability, and cleverness are characteristic. Joanna is a minimalist, and streamlined aesthetics carry a feeling of ease and cozy calmness while remaining strictly functional. All products and spaces are designed with utmost precision and with the most important factor in mind: the user.
