Monnens, Alain

Born in 1969 in Bree, Belgium. He graduated with honours as an industrial designer at the media & design academy in Genk, Belgium. After working in the Netherland, he washed ashore in West-Flanders (Belgium) where he fell in love with the city of Bruges.

In the last years Alain won several awards. For tossB's 'Tube' he receveid in 2004 the 'Best Product Design' Award in the 4 annual desing competition of the province West-Flanders. In 2006 his 'Cone' received a 'Henry van de Velde label' from Design Vlaanderen.
