Sestig, Glenn

Glenn Sestig, born in Belgium, graduates in 1997 from the Henri Van de Velde Institute in Antwerp. In the few years since he set up his firm with partner, artist and colourist, BVARDK, projects have included shops, public spaces, apartments and penthouses.

The creations of Glenn Sestig have been labeled as “contemporary chic” and “bohemian bourgeois”, but he prefers to categorize his work as “intuitive architecture”. Starting with functionality on a minimalist scale, spaces metamorphose with colour, light and contrasting materials into sophisticated and seductive interiors.

His work has been featured in magazines such as: Wallpaper, Elle Decoration, Frame Magazine, Metropolitan Home, Interni, Knack, Trends, etc and in 2002 Glenn Sestig Architects and Copyright released the book “First Regards”- published by Toohcsmi Uitgevers.

In addition to architecture Glenn Sestig also succeeded in manifesting his intuitive vision into concepts for fashion shows and events like Y3 (Yamamoto for Adidas), Higher by Dior and Longchamp. Currently he is putting the finishing touch to an exclusive apartment in Antwerp.
