Ståhlbom, Mattias

The Swedish Architect Mattias Ståhlbom was educated at Konstfack, University of Arts, Crafts and Design in Stockholm. He has also been studying Ethnology at the University of Stockholm and Art Sience at the University of UmeĂĄ/ University of Stockholm. He is running the architect- and designoffice TAF in Stockholm, Sweden, together with Gabriella Gustafson. Mattias Ståhlbom is also a freelance designer and has e g designed the bowl Fall for Pukebergs glasbruk, the lighting serie Can, Pin and Three for Zero Interiör, the magazine holder File for NC Möbler and the table Chamfer for Karl Andersson & Söner together with Daniel FranzĂ©n. Mattias Ståhlbom has exhibit his work at fairs in Milan, Tokyo, Seoul and will, during autumn 2005 have an exhibition at a gallery in New York and at a fair in Zurich. He has designed a piece of jewellery for cell phones that will be exhibit at The Museum of Modern Art in New York in October 2005, and will, together with Gabriella Gustafson, take part in an exhibition about young architects at The Swedish Museum of Architecture in Stockholm in September 2005. Mattias Ståhlbom is one of the chosen designers to work with Alcro design in Sweden, developing a collection af colors presented by the company once a year.
