Teixido, Gabriel

Gabriel Teixido studied at the Escuela de Artes Aplicadas y Oficios Artísticos [Applied Arts and Artistic Trades School] from 1964-1969. Teixidó has worked with the Escola de Disseny i Art (EINA) [Design and Art School], and is a former member of the Board of ADI-FAD.

His specialities are furniture and lighting, which he has marketed with firms such as Andreu World, Tagono, Grassoler, Akaba, Disform, Grupo T. and Arruti. Among his most succesfull lamp designs are Gala, Tema, Nirvana and City for the Spanish label Carpyen.
