Hannes Wettstein is counted among Switzerlands most innovative and succesful designers. In 1991 he founded his agency with its head office in Zürich. Together with his team, comprising 15 designers and architects, Hannes Wetstein designs interiors, furniture, lighting, watches, electronic entertainment products as well as standard and luxury goods.
His most famous works include his Juliette Chair (1987) for Baleri and the development of the worldwide first low-voltage cable-track lighting system for the Swiss company Belux. Other light design companies Wettstein has worked with are Artemide and Pallucco. Hannes Wetstein died in 2008.
